Magpul RLS Rifleman Loop Sling (MAG1004)

Drawing from the legacy and established track record of Magpul’s MS Sling series, the Magpul RLS (Rifleman Loop Sling) is a reliable, lightweight, and cost-effective shooting aid and retention system. By blending the finest attributes of Rhodesian and 1907 match-style slings, the RLS incorporates Magpul’s renowned proprietary nylon mesh webbing and robust polymer hardware.

In its retention capacity, the RLS functions unobtrusively as a weapon sling and secure retention device, ensuring the rifle remains snugly positioned behind the shoulder. When needed, the RLS swiftly engages by adjusting the forward loop, gripping the shooter’s support arm, establishing a stable shooting stance, and firmly anchoring the rifle butt against the shoulder.

 The Magpul RLS was intentionally designed for mobility. Weighing a mere 4.4 ounces, its optimized weight doesn’t burden the rifle unnecessarily and is lighter than many competing slings and straps. Like all Magpul slings, the RLS has undergone rigorous testing to ensure reliability and performance in wet, dry, and sandy conditions, including load and drop tests. It has been used during hikes, bike rides, swimming, climbing, hunting, and extensive shooting across various field conditions.

THE WEBBING

• Made of Magpul’s proprietary chafe-resistant 1 ¼” nylon mesh webbing
• The tubular construction eliminates any rough edges that might cause rubbing or snagging, offering dual layers of cushioned comfort for the end user when the sling is shouldered.
• While in use, the strap’s sleek texture continues to provide comfort, even when twisted around the user’s arm.
• Like all Magpul slings, colored webbing is NIR treated to reduce infrared signature.
